Software Quality Assurance Internship

Job Description

  1. Perform manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues in web and mobile applications.
  2. Develop, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and procedures based on product requirements and specifications.
  3. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand system functionality and provide feedback.
  4. Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and updates do not impact existing functionality.
  6. Assist in creating and maintaining detailed testing documentation, including test plans and test scripts.
  7. Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by formal test cases.
  8. Provide input for improving the testing process, tools, and methodologies.


Job Requirements

  1. Undergraduate students, Diploma students, or Fresh Graduate from Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or other related majors.
  2. Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  3. Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
  4. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies.
  5. Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and documentation.
  6. Understanding of web and mobile application functionalities and user behavior.
  7. Basic knowledge of bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, or similiar). 
  8. Understand of basic knowledge automation testing tools ( Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) is a plus.
  9. Understanding of Agile, Scrum methodologies and working within a software development lifecycle (SDLC).
