Software Quality Assurance Internship
Job Description
- Perform manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues in web and mobile applications.
- Develop, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and procedures based on product requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand system functionality and provide feedback.
- Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and updates do not impact existing functionality.
- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed testing documentation, including test plans and test scripts.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by formal test cases.
- Provide input for improving the testing process, tools, and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate students, Diploma students, or Fresh Graduate from Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or other related majors.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies.
- Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and documentation.
- Understanding of web and mobile application functionalities and user behavior.
- Basic knowledge of bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, or similiar).
- Understand of basic knowledge automation testing tools ( Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum methodologies and working within a software development lifecycle (SDLC).
