Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

  1. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  2. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  3. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  4. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  5. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  6. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  7. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  8. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  9. Monitor debugging process results
  10. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions



Job Requirements

  1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from IT or other related majors.
  2. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  3. Experience with Automation Testing tools such as Katalon Studio for minimum 1 year.
  4. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  5. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  6. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  7. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  8. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  9. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  10. Understand the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concept.
