Mid. Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description
- Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to design detailed test plans and test cases.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Develop and optimize test scripts using Playwright or similar tools (Cypress, Selenium) for automation testing across different browsers and platforms.
- Perform Blackbox and Whitebox Testing to validate functionality, performance, and security of products.
- Conduct a variety of testing, including functional testing, unit testing, integration testing, smoke testing, regression testing to ensure system stability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical designs, ensuring alignment with testing strategies.
- Participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and provide QA insights during development cycles.
- Maintain detailed and accurate testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or other related majors.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Quality Assurance Engineer expertise in both manual and automation testing.
- Proven hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in developing and executing automated tests for web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Proven expertise in performing both Blackbox Testing and Whitebox Testing.
- Experience in testing APIs and web services (Postman or APIdog).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (STLC), tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum development frameworks and collaboration tools (Jira).
