Mid. Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description 

  1. Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to design detailed test plans and test cases.
  2. Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans to ensure product quality and functionality.
  3. Develop and optimize test scripts using Playwright or similar tools (Cypress, Selenium) for automation testing across different browsers and platforms.
  4. Perform Blackbox and Whitebox Testing to validate functionality, performance, and security of products.
  5. Conduct a variety of testing, including functional testing, unit testing, integration testing, smoke testing, regression testing to ensure system stability.
  6. Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using Jira or similar tools.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical designs, ensuring alignment with testing strategies.
  8. Participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and provide QA insights during development cycles.
  9. Maintain detailed and accurate testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Job Requirements

  1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or other related majors.
  2. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Quality Assurance Engineer expertise in both manual and automation testing. 
  3. Proven hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (Selenium, Cypress). 
  4. Proficiency in developing and executing automated tests for web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
  5. Proven expertise in performing both Blackbox Testing and Whitebox Testing.
  6. Experience in testing APIs and web services (Postman or APIdog).
  7. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  8. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (STLC), tools, and best practices.
  9. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum development frameworks and collaboration tools (Jira).
