Mid. Business System Analyst
Job Description
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document system issues and inefficiencies in current processes.
- Evaluate existing business workflows and systems to uncover areas for optimization and improvement.
- Design future-state systems that meet user needs and business goals, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with objectives.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including BPMN, swimlane diagrams, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to differentiate between needs and wants, ensuring technical solutions align with business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, present solutions, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Develop clear documentation such as Product Requirements Documents (PRD), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for cross-functional teams (QA, Engineers, PM).
- Prioritize system features based on business value, urgency, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
- Contribute to developing a scalable, phased system delivery strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Focus on delivering solutions that address business needs, maintaining strong documentation and technical standards.
- Communicate regularly with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and integrate with the overall system architecture.
Job Requirements
- Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related majors.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in the IT or software development industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders & cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, system documentation, and business process analysis.
- Strong understanding of aligning business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring scalability and business goal alignment.
- Proficient in system documentation, including BPMN, swimlane diagrams, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Experience in developing Product Requirements Documents (PRD), features specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile & Waterfall).
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, UML (Draw.io, Miro), Figma, Notion for managing documentation and requirements.
- Knowledge of modular and scalable system delivery strategies is a plus.
- Have a basic knowledge of System Design is a plus.
