Jr. Electrical Engineer
Job Description
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for IoT-enabled solar panel projects, including PV array configurations, charge controllers, inverters, and power distribution.
- Support the engineering team in integrating solar energy systems with IoT devices for remote monitoring, data logging, and performance optimization.
- Perform basic load calculations, system sizing, and component selection (solar panels, batteries, MPPT, etc.).
- Aid in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar-powered IoT devices at project sites.
- Conduct functional testing and diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient operation of solar systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of deployed solar-powered systems.
- Prepare technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, system layouts, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and solar safety standards (IEC, SNI, PLN).
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, production) to ensure successful project implementation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor, Diploma degree from Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or other related majors.
- 0–2 years of experience in Electrical or Solar Energy projects (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eager to learn and grow in the field of renewable energy and IoT integration.
- Basic understanding of solar power systems (PV modules, batteries, inverters, charge controllers).
- Familiarity with IoT hardware and sensors used for energy monitoring is an advantage.
- Able to read and create electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Willing to travel to project locations for on-site installation and support.
