Electronics Engineer Internship
Job Description
- Assist in designing and prototyping electronic circuits and PCB layouts for IoT devices.
- Learn to use schematic capture tools and PCB design software to create and modify hardware designs.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to understand firmware-hardware interactions and assist in integrating hardware components with embedded software/firmware.
- Support in researching and evaluating electronic components such as microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication modules suitable for IoT projects.
- Writing software/firmware requirement, design, code, verification and validation test documents.
- Learn to troubleshoot hardware issues using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment under supervision.
- Participate in component testing and validation to ensure functionality and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate students, Diploma students, or Fresh Graduate from Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related majors.
- Previous coursework, projects, or internship experience related to electronics design, PCB layout, or embedded systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers such as ESP/AVR/STM, sensors, actuators.
- Understand basic communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C.
- Understand C/C++ and Python programming language.
- Ability to design PCB schematic using Eagle, Kicad, Altium, or etc.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits, analog/digital electronics principles.
- Understand in using basic electronics testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes) is a plus.
