Data Scientist

Job Description

1. Identify, collect, and preprocess diverse datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and reliability.
2. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
3. Develop scripts or workflows for data cleaning, transformation, and normalization.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and software developers to integrate data science solutions into business applications and systems.
5. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
6. Develop business and machine-learning model from data owned by the company and / or client.
7. Visualize data using appropriate tools and techniques to communicate findings effectively.
8. Design, develop, and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and predictive analytics to solve business problems and optimize processes.
9. Implement machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, random forests, neural networks, and clustering techniques.
10. Experiment with new techniques and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.

Job Requirements

1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related majors.
2. Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role for minimum 1 year, preferably in a start up environment. 
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
4. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, with practical experience in applying them to real-world problems.
5. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and techniques.
6. Knowledge of big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
