Cybersecruity Engineer Internship

Job Description

  1. Assist in maintaining the security of the company’s network, data, and systems.
  2. Support the team in detecting and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  3. Assist in implement IT security policies and documentation.
  4. Monitor security logs and identify potential vulnerabilities or suspicious activities.
  5. Perform vulnerability scanning using tools like Nessus or OpenVAS.
  6. Assist in penetration testing and report findings to the team.
  7. Support incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
  8. Collaborate with engineers to apply encryption standards to applications.
  9. Assist with the documentation and reporting of security findings and incidents.
  10. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to assist in improving security measures.


Job Requirements

  1. Undergraduate students, Diploma students, Bachelor Degree or Fresh Graduate from Computer Science, IT, Information System or other related majors. 
  2. Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security protocols.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and document security findings clearly.
  4. Familiarity with security tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar tools.
  5. Developing ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with attention to detail.
  6. Eagerness to learn and a keen interest in cybersecurity.
  7. Any relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) is a plus.
  8. Prior internship experience or projects related to cybersecurity is a plus.
