Jr. Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

  1. Developing, enhancing, and implementing robust cybersecurity mechanisms to protect our systems and data.
  2. Escalating security incidents promptly and effectively, following established procedures and policies.
  3. Proactively identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in both cloud and on-premise environments.
  4. Ensuring compliance with industry security standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, and EU GDPR.
  5. Preventing data breaches and implementing strong cryptographic measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  6. Minimizing vulnerabilities in our software development lifecycle and collaborating with engineering teams to implement secure coding practices.
  7. Continuously monitoring our systems for threats and conducting in-depth security assessments.
  8. Developing and implementing automation scripts for security tasks and reporting.
  9. Providing support during security incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
  10. Conducting security awareness training and sharing best practices with the engineering team.


Job Requirements

  1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related majors.
  2. Have experience as a Cybersecurity for minimum 1 year.
  3. Understanding of networking, computer architecture, and distributed systems.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Familiar with Linux and Windows server administration, security hardening, and cloud infrastructure.
  6. Familiar with security assessment tools and techniques, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
  7. Knowledge of cryptography, encryption algorithms, and digital certificates.
  8. Experience with security compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  9. Passion for Cybersecurity and a continuous learning mindset.
