Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description

  1. Looking for loopholes, hacking (offensive team) or carrying out quality control of a system that is formed.
  2. Prevent, protect and strengthen the system (defensive team) from possible cyber attacks.
  3. Operate cloud security to protect data, applications or infrastructure with increased security from cyber attacks.
  4. Collaborate with IT teams to implement patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  5. Prepare and present reports on the state of cybersecurity to management.
  6. Conduct penetration testing to application (white-box, grey-box, black-box) and provide suggestion or solution to developers on how to address that issue.



Job Requirements

  1. Graduate from Bachelor, Diploma 3, Diploma 4 degree from Cybersecurity, IT or other related majors.
  2. Have a background from either the red team or the blue team (can be either one) for a Junior less than 1 year, Middle minimum 1 year.
  3. Familiar and experienced in using cloud such an AWS (Amazon Web Services), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Microsoft Azure, etc.
  4. Have deep knowledge about Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and implement it in testing website security systems.
  5. Experienced in conduct penetration testing to application (white-box, grey-box, or black-box), and vulnerability assessments.
  6. Have deep knowledge about network and systems security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
  7. Familiar with Linux (Red Hat and Debian) and also Windows Server System.
  8. Have professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
